Nyaruko isn’t for everyone, and its fine, not everyone likes its over the top humor, moe, and nonsense, which is perfectly understandable.
But if you are the kind of person who likes that kind of thing, Nyaruko might just be one of the most perfectly executed works of comedy in fiction, maybe ever. The way each joke meshes with each other, the references to other media (and to itself) in each of them, and the comedic timing makes for an execution that will for sure have anyone rolling in the ground laughing.

story plots hidden beneath are simply amazing, with each arc getting progressively better and more thought out than the previous one. Mahiro and Nyaruko’s relationship goes from being the punch line of every joke to becoming the fuel for an amazing story later on.
Each character gets their respective screen time and development in a way that makes it clear how much they improved (even Mahiro, who is undeniably a bum at the start of the series), in such a way that no matter who your favorite character is, you will get to see them bloom.
If you like over the top comedy and moe, but also with an actual story and development in it, Haiyore! Nyaruko-San might be a great option for you.
