Both series are written by the same author and contain the similar story themes of exploring manhood with unique martial arts. Family of Brahman is required to be read first as the series is referenced in the story line of Akatsuki!! Otokojuku; chapters 88 onward. 

Both are shonen series which expresses manliness through heroic feats and outrageous battles. There's plenty of creativity found in both manga, especially with the usage of delinquent characters. 

Both mangas follow the next generation of their respective series which include the sons of our previous main characters. Ultimate Muscle has more bizarre character designs while Otokojuku has more variety in fights. Both sequels are just as good as their predecessors & contain the same level of over the top manliness! 

Both are sequels to masculine battle shonens featuring tournament style combat. These series also share a similar plot of traveling to a country filled with martial artists while in search of a cure to a dying character. Lastly, Baki and Shishimaru have a few father-son moments although Baki's relationship isn't as cheerful.  

Both series star the child of the previous main character being Jolyne Kujo, daughter of Jotaro Kujo & Tsurugi Shishimaru, son of Tsurugi Momotaro. Their parents also play a role in the story, often aiding them in combat while displaying their responsibility as a father. These manga contain over-the-top battles filled with hot blooded fury & various tragic moments. Jolyne & Shishimaru also cooperate as a leader figure with their friends who with their combined efforts overcome many foes.
