Both series involve super human woman, and both male protagonists have a special attribute that completely separates them from the rest 

No mater how I look at it, I can’t shake the feeling that School Shock is very similar to FMP, but with swapped genders. Though School shock is more action orientated and FMP is more about mechs and has more humor, they both have sci-fi themes, nice drawn battles as well as a good bucket of fanservice. :3 

Though Alita is a more old-school manga, they both score good points when it comes to good ol’ cyborg on cyborg action.
