Synopsis

Yukari, at the tender age of 17, is a renown Edo period novelist who claims visions of Yoshihara during the Edo period gush from his heart. After meeting Mahoro, a girl he swears he knows and has met before, Yukari finds himself falling asleep and waking up in the Edo period as an Oiran. The past and present collide in this time traveling romance.

Seeing as this series lacks a review here, I decided to write my little thing on Yukarism. This won't be the most comprehensive review as I feel that giving people an understanding of the series is more important than presenting my own opinions
Yukarism begins in modern-day Japan with our eccentric and wondering male protagonist, Yukari Kobayakawa. He's a 17 year old author who writes novels about the Edo Period. LOVED this manga so much I bought the 1st volume & am planning on buying the rest when they come out.

[STORY]
The story is very unique and interesting. It definitely keeps you reading.
When it comes to mangas and certain genre's there will always be similarities but it's the differences that make or break the manga & the differences in this manga make it.

It brings in not only the Edo period but also a supernatural element to it which makes it way more interesting. It's not a random supernatural element too,
