Break ups are always equal to the Armageddon when it comes to manga. And while some are capable of making it look realistic and interesting enough at the same time, other, such as Chocolate Temptation here, fail miserably. This is one of those manga whose point of existence is still a mystery, considering how pointless they are.
A girl gets dumped and another guy instantly jumps in to be her boyfriend. They fall in love in a matter of a day, and pledge to love each other forever. Aww.
WHAT THE HELL?
And the manga barely has anything to do with chocolate truth to be told. Well, she did fell in love with him because he had a chocolate flavored kiss, but that is so illogical it simply can't be a support of title. This is the lamest love story ever.
Well, what to expect from a shoujo one-shot? A bunch of tears, clouds, sparkles, sound effects and other bullshit inserted into any empty space. The main heroine is kind of cute, and it's the only reason why the rating is as it is.
Other than that, there is a great lack of surrounding arts. Of course, her bra was drawn perfectly into details. That's what matter after all, right?
We meet three characters out of which one barely has any lines, and his face is never shown (ooh, mysterious!). Both of main characters are as cliche as Disney movies, the girl cries too much, and the boy kind of forces her into things. The good thing is, she at least admits she fell in love with him for no reason. Logic these days, eh?
There is one or two ecchi pages, if you want to take a look. Other than that material for ecchi lovers, there is no place for enjoyment. Still, the girl is nice to look at. As I said, her design is cute.
Eh. What a waste of 3 minutes. If you're up for one shots, Kago Shintaro may be your man. MAY BE. Don't say I didn't warn you. read more
