Both are shoujo based supernatural stories with a focus on zodiac symbolism, a cheerful perky female lead as well as elements of romance in it as well too and also lots of cute art and character designs too. 

Fruits Basket and Zodiac P.I. are two shoujo manga themed around the zodiac—there are characters in FuruBa who turn into one of the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac, and the main character in Zodiac P.I. has a ring that can help her solve murder cases depending on the Western zodiac sign of the victim. While there is comedy, there also seems to be some amount of tragedy throughout the story. 

Both stories were made by Natsumi Ando and also share that cute cheery feel to it and also romance and polar opposite personality wise mcs too. 

Zodiac P.I. and Kitchen Princess are two shoujo manga series drawn by Natsuki Ando that features a female main character with long blonde hair and a bit of an enthusiastic personality. The MC in both series meets a boy with dark hair and an attitude common with tsunderes (they also look very similar due to the same manga-ka, so possible same-face syndrome), who ends up becoming best friends with the MC. Despite these series being in different genres, they both have similar romantic tones, and if you liked one of these two series, you are sure to like the other. 

Both are supernatural themed stories that focus on girls getting caught up into strange shit,romance (even if it may be albeit rivarlieish) as well as cute art,character designs and charming comedy as well too. 

Zodiac P.I. and Cardcaptor Sakura are two shoujo manga series about a female main character that has possession of an item(s) capable of supernatural abilities. In fact, both series' items in question are capable of being utilized for fortune-telling means (Zodiac P.I.'s Star Ring can show a person's horoscope and the Clow Cards in Cardcaptor Sakura can be used to foresee events). Both series also has the female lead be very good at P.E. and meet a tsundere love interest. 

Both focus on the dual lives of girls fighting crime as well as also romance elements in it as well too. 

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Zodiac P.I. are two shoujo manga about a girl with an alternate identity—a mysterious figure who comes about at night and catches the attention of the police despite doing deeds in the name of good. She also gets a boy who recently transfers into her class and announces that he will be her rival, though the two also end up helping each other. 

The ComiQ and Zodiac P.I. are two relatively short mystery manga where the main characters end up finding themselves in the middle of murder cases. The story is a relatively exciting read as the main character wants to find out the truth and the true criminal behind it all. There's a hint of shoujo tropes as the former parodies it in a manga the MC is making and the latter is actually shoujo. Zodiac P.I. is a bit longer and adds a bit of fantasy and romance to the mix in comparison to The ComiQ though. 

Yu-Gi-Oh and Zodiac P.I. are two fantasy action manga with a main character who has an alter ego, a childhood friend who gets dangerously close to finding out about said identity early on, and uses a mystical item related to real world concepts/cultures—YGO with Egyptian mythology and Zodiac with the Western zodiac. The latter is more on the mystery and romantic side than the former, but both give off a similar fun vibe where it's satisfying to see criminals get caught and punished for their actions (for YGO this is mainly in first 7 vols). 

Zodiac P.I. and Full Moon wo Sagashite are two shoujo manga series about a girl following in the path of their parents, with Lili becoming a fortune-teller and Mitsuki finding interest in a musical career. The MC meets a boy with dark hair and seems to be a bit irritable with them at first, but eventually they become best friends. Both series not only have a bit of a fantasy aspect, whether it be a fortune-telling ring or shinigami, but also some tragedy revolving the plot. The art styles of both manga are also somewhat similar.
