You can read someplace that Macaroni is shōnen-ai, but to me it hard to see it, and if you don't read extra you can take relationships between characters as friendship or something like that.

The plot is quite simple(beacuse the manga isn't long). Characters are friendly and realistic. Humor to me was very funny. The line was annoying at the beginning, but I fast get use to it.

All together it isn't something very amazing or original, but it is quite good, and i really liked it!!! ^^

I freakin LOVED this story! It's very funny and has just enough mystery to make u wonder! It really is worth your while, I think Sydney was my favourite character
