The Dark Souls of Manhwas.

Enkrid is a brutally resilient warrior with no talent, but in a way that differs from the cliché. He doesn't become a ridiculously broken character, the challenges he faces are all very different from each other and require him to constantly reinvent himself and think outside the box.

His squad, “The Madmen”, are not useless characters for the protagonist to humiliate, they clearly and consistently demonstrate that they are far better than Enkrid due to their great talent in very different areas, and that if it weren't for the repetition of their aggressive teachings, Enkrid would really have no chance of surviving. ... Better yet, the chemistry between all the members is really fun.

Another thing that sets this apart from other works is that Enkrid's seriousness does not prevent him from having a sense of humor and brotherhood, his madness does not prevent him from being rational, and his interaction with potential love interests is much more adult and direct without ridiculous use of fan service.

The art, panel composition, and pacing of the story are excellent, which is important to note considering that it has a committed weekly serialization.

It's really satisfying to be able to read it translated on an official and free platform (Webtoons), and I really hope to see it animated given the multiple manhwas that are being adapted.

10/10, whilst not something which tries to imply deeper meaning or make the reader question anything, I don’t judge simply based on that and i don’t add or remove ratings simply because the media tried to add some sort of existential meaning to the manwha.

The basic premise of an untalented individual constantly repeating his life until he beats near-impossible scenarios allows the author to create settings that are both grounded and larger than life, each fight scene is something that the power setting has allowed and is realistic to an extent to the reader.

The art is good with the artstyle being unique, ... the characters themselves are memorable with good design and feel very realistic, the writing is exceptional with dialogue feeling life-like and with wit. The biggest flaw i can think of is the fact that the author doesn’t really give the main character any romance which in it of itself isn’t a flaw as forced romance is a massive flaw most manwha/manga writers do.

Firstly the art is amazing. I especially love the haunting design of the death guide guy. This is a great groundhog day esque repeating the same day over and over setting. The MC is self aware that he doesn't have talent but due to this unexpected development where he can repeat his day he decided to make the most of it and get stronger through each death. Honestly MC's determination is insane. Encrid works extremely hard and would keep on repeating the day until he overcomes the wall. Like I can't help but cheer for him cause I forgot sure would have given up but ... Encrid even argues with the guide to death (the boatsman) to keep on getting stronger. 

Overall really shows progress of Encrid from weak to strong. Honestly I like that Encrid is definitely a bit insane cause he likes getting stronger even though he has to go through death to get it.
