I swear to god, this single handedly gave me the collective anxiety which I haven't felt in all of my years of reading manga.
That to say IF you have heard the song which it was based on. And this is my first time hearing about a manga adapted from a song, but its not like it was anything different from a normal manga.
Now for starters, I am still on the fence whether to recommend to listen the song or not. And yeah this is me talking after listening the song. While the song is certainly a bop and does help give you a gist
...
of what the manga is about and helps in the overall narrative, but remember that the manga is based off of the song itself, so basically you now know about how the manga will end, which is not the most rewarding of things. So I will leave the choice up to you.
Now onto the real review. The story itself was not that much of interesting. The angels were given a contract of saving a human girl from her untimely death. It appeared a certainly boring one. Then came the sole saviour of the story.
Lo and behold our precious NTR!!!!
Really(?). Yeah, really. Oh my damn god. While the story has not reached to the NTR part yet but it is slowly giving away hints and as we know from the song it is going to be one, unless the author pulls an Uno reverse which is highly unlikely. Now, I heard the song after reading the second chapter because the first and second chapter were a bit bumpy here and there, but after hearing that as I read more and more, anticipation clutched my heart, like really damn hard that I could feel the anxiety welling within me. So, as a hook for the readers to get sucked in, it gets 10/10.
Now onto the characters, they have each got somewhat of a development in their own right. No one is annoying to me as of moment but the angel girl may strike to many as one. Because she is "an angel who despises human". Which can be similarly said about the angel boy. While the main character should I say (?), the human girl, is absolutely naïve to a fault. Meaning a goody two shoes.
Art is pretty damn good, especially in those double pages and in the moments in which the angel shows her wings. The lines are well defined and the scenes are easy to follow.
All in all, a good manga in its potential but still, a good NTR manga is still an NTR manga. While it can enjoy a decent rating from me for the time being, once the NTR gets introduced it would become an absolute 10.
*Just kidding*
