Internet friends meet each other for the first time, where at least one of them is expecting the other to be a girl, who ofc, turns out to be a boy!

Both of these series have a boy who looks up to another person through the Internet since the other anonymous guy on the Internet is realitivly popular. In both mangas the characters happen to meet their "idols" and things continue from there. :)

Ah, the big dork in Himitsu reminded me of the big dork in Merry Checker. While the premises and even age groups of the characters in both manga are vastly different, what's similar is the relationship between the two characters - a dark haired male who doesn't make friends easily, and a really big/tall blond oaf whose most likable personality trait is his soft heart.

Internet friends who meet in real life, and then end up falling for each other.

Both have two of the smartest, most analytical ukes ever seen in yaoi. They are also drop-dead-gorgeous but that's just a bonus. Yuuutsuna Asa is not as lighthearted as Merry Checker though, it's deep and dark and it just pays with your heart strings leaving you craving for more.

Both has characters wherein they thought that the other was a female.
