Call me a simpleton who enjoys romance mangas with a cute heroine, but this manga is too good because of the fmc. She’s your classic introverted/socially inept archetypes, so her cuteness is overwhelming.
To add to that, she compliments the mc very well, as he’s one of those “mean” but bad at women characters, which makes for some pretty funny interactions. He also isn’t too jarring like the blush at every moment mcs.
Their dynamic also works well because it wasn’t shoved down our throats about how well they click or instantly get along. A lot of the time in the introduction was spent introducing
...
the characters in a unique and charming way.
I forgot to talk about the plot, but the plot is rather unique, as it’s not often where you see romance mangas with aspiring actors or a director as the main leads, so there’s ton of plot points that make this manga feel special, unlike your 1000 other high school romance mangas you have in your bookmarks. The manga also isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, as it looks like it’s going to have some drama in the acting industry that the mc will have to, of course, solve for the fmc.
If you’re tired of the usual school romance mangas, then this might be quite refreshing to read, as it uses similar character archetypes but in a unique setting. Also, who doesn’t love a cute heroine.
You guys know this is just my opinion, right?
