Both have female presidents whose outer appearance is completely opposite to their inner appearance. Both female main characters from both stories, have their inner appearance discovered by a guy who then takes interest in them.

The smirking shinigami/demonslayer seem similar, and the stories are set in school.

I've been a long time fan of Akuma to Love Song. In Akuma, the main character is outwardly very cold and is bluntly honest, though, inwardly, she is truly trying to help people. She struggles to show affection and to become closer to others. The people close to her (the two main male characters) begin to understand her and the become good friends as the rest of the class begins to accept her. I recently came across Sarashi Asobi, and, though there are only 4 chapters released, I am enjoying it so far not only because of the plot, but also because the art is  read more

Even though the plots are completely different, they gave me a similar feel. Ai reminded me of Yui, because even though both can be kind of mean, they also saved the main girl a lot, and tried to hurt her feelings but instead ended up getting a completely unexpected reaction.

Both mangas has a main male character who protects the heroine, both male characters are imortal (though in SA Ai is a shinigami and in YT Yao is imortal because of a spell), both heroines have straightforward, cute personalities. There is a similar feel to them, both of them are really, really, good, so if you've read one, you'll definately enjoy the other

Both stories center around a supernatural lover through a chance event, which ultimately changes the (female) protagonist's life forever. However, Hana to Akuma is more through the viewpoint of the narrator (and occasionally Hana-protagonist) while Sarashi Asobi takes its view from that of (mostly) the (male) protagonist, Ai, and offers a few chapters from other standpoints as well.

Gorgeous art styles. Beautiful characters with distinctive personalities. Story lines involve love between a demon/grim reaper and a human. Sarashi involves a male/female relationship while Jigoku involves a same sex couple. Warning: Works are so beautiful, love so pure that tears may be induced. Enjoy.

Both involves death gods warning the person that heroine is about to die and desperately tries to protect/ change her destiny. Sarashi's Art is better and is much more romantic and more slice of life compared to Kamisama. Both endings are different, but they somewhat have a similar "level" of drama in their ending.

In both series there is an immortal who wants something from a girl. Both have romance (though in the oneshot it's only hinted at).

Both involve Shinigami and Human relationship. Shinigami Lovers has nicer drawing compared to Sarashi Asobi, but Sarashi Asobi has a more interesting storyline and ending compared to Shinigami Lovers

They both have shinigamis and are both great romance mangas. The shinigamis both fall for the cheerful and kind main girl. Both mangas give off a bittersweet feel. They are both short and you'll surely enjoy both!

Both mangas have a supernatural being (demon/shinigami) who become interested in a human girl. As their interest grows they begin neglecting their duties and become more concerned for the girls wellbeing. The art styles are also similar.

~ Supernatural being latches onto some girl (though in Mugen Spiral she is not quite so unsuspecting) ~ Both include romance ~ Both include a rather rushed ending
