To be honest, this story didn't go in the direction I thought it would. From what I read from the description, I figured it was going to be about a father who was so desperate to support his growing family, that he agreed to do lewd/kinky work to gain enough money to support everyone. And while it seemed that Won-Yeong Ju was doing that in the beginning...he grew to become a bad man - he might not have killed someone, but what he did was still despicable. I get that his life wasn't at all easy, seeing that he married and started a family with
...
Chae-Rin at a young age, lost his father in an accident, his mother became a cripple (in the same accident), and his sister Hwan-Hee had cancer (but saved her from a bone marrow transplant). And the woman that became drawn to him over the course of the story...well there were at least eight of them (when you don't count his wife). So-Jeong Kang, a beautiful and young woman who worked at the same company as him has had secret feelings for Won-Yeung since the beginning, and was the first to begin an affair with him; Mi-Seon Yu, a photographer with an lewd and perverted personality and expresses that through her work, and she isn't ashamed to do "anything" to get her goal, which of course included using her body for Won-Yeong; Eunah Lim, Byeong-Chan Min's beautiful wife and CEO of an online shopping mall, wanted to have a child but got so desperate that she ended up having an affair with Won-Yeung, which of course quickly led her to fall for him; Mari Lee, a beautiful but shy makeup artist who desires to make it big in the makeup artists business, and falls completely for Won-Yeung after some encouragement; Eun-Hae Shim, a single mother who runs a mid-sized firm was instantly attracted to Won-Yeong because of his good looks, but his smooth personality is also ultimately caused her to fall for him; Hyeri Oh, a beautiful fine art graduate student who was shy and hesitant at first, but over time became drawn to Won-Yeung and desired him almost as much as he desired her; Ji-Hyeon Min, Byeong-Chan Min's beautiful daughter who's always had a thing for Won-Yeong, and slowly seduces him until they finally have a physical relationship; and Subin Jeong, Byeong-Chan's beautiful and brilliant secretary who can handle almost anything thrown her way, and has secretly been attracted to Won-Yeong since the first day, and eventually becomes part of his harem.
If it was like Won-Yeung had a high libido, and after being "blue-balled" by his wife for an entire year, I guess it could have helped his case with sleeping with multiple partners. They could have also put in that during his time providing for his family, he also took up exercise to help keep his sexual urges in check; as well as keeping himself in shape. But after being with another woman, he slowly started to become enamored with the pleasures of the company of women. And while he originally did everything for his family, he could have also told himself that he had sex with other women to help control his urges - unaware that they were actually growing. Another thing that could have helped was Won-Yeung putting money away from the other jobs he was going; just to be safe. It also didn't help that he would actually use his charm to manipulate women into sleeping with him, instead of relying on his honesty and charm to simply allow the women to come to him - that way, it be the women seducing him and he'd fall prey to his libido. I will admit that the whole "food play" between Won-Yeung and So-Jeong was probably my favorite...I guess cause I'm a bit of a foodie. I'll admit that the art is good, and the story isn't completely bad...but it just wasn't what I wanted. Won-Yeung should have resisted Ji-Hyeon's advances, since she was the daughter of his best friend - so sleeping with Byeong-Chan's wife and only daughter was pretty much crossing the line. It might have helped if Won-Yeung and Eunah talked about their affair with Byeong-Chan before they committed such an immoral act, and probably wait until Ji-Hyeon passed her exams (or at least school) to finally accept her advances. I can totally understand why Byeong-Chan became enraged and fired the person he truest the most. But to be honest, some of the women are not completely innocent either - So-Jeong was aware that Won-Yeung was married but insisted on having an affair with him; Mi-Seon was a bit too perverted and desired her art to reflect her perversion; Eunah was so desperate for a child that she gave into temptation and kept her affair with Won-Yeung going; Mari was naive enough to fall for Won-Yeung, despite barely knowing anything about him; Eun-Hae was desperate enough to live her own life to the fullest that she allowed herself to fall for some pretty boy; Hyeri seemed to shy and naive, but also came off as somewhat spoiled and shallow when she found out that Won-Yeung has made a name for himself; Ji-Hyeon, while the youngest, became somewhat obsessed with Won-Yeung, going as far as to stalk and blackmail him to have relations with her (she also seemed to be a slight bit unhinged at times); Subin was an incredibly smart woman, but even she couldn't resist Won-Yeung's charm and even wanted to do anything for him, although she was able to remain loyal to Byeong-Chan...the man who gave her purpose in the end.
And I'm impressed just how well that private investigator, Yongshik Jeon, did despite his advanced age. But in the end, Won-Yeung lost it all. And all because he got too greedy and egotistical, and all that popularity (from both female students and mothers) went to his head. Refusing to take responsibility for his actions, and blaming others for his troubles. He had to settle for Mi-Seon hooking him up for an escort service - to, in my opinion, some very attractive GILFs (who are just completely underrated). Heck, if he did something like that as a side hustle, he might have had some money left over to keep him on his toes until he found himself another job. He truly could have had it all if he just played smart and cautiously. But no, he just needed to have more and had to go all out, without any backup plans. The poor bastard only has himself to blame for ended up with nothing. Won-Yeun claims that he'll rise back to the top, and from Eunah's aroused expression from seeing him again...it may not be over just yet.
