Both manga are about a girl who likes to eat cakes and starts training to become a pâtissière. Even though she is inexperienced and messes up a lot at first she has some good ideas about designing and decorating cakes. 

Lovely Decoration and Kitchen Princess are two shojo manga series that feature a girl who loves to eat as the main character of a cooking-themed story. 

Food Wars and Lovely Decoration are two cooking manga about a young main character who begins their journey of becoming a chef. A father who owns a restaurant and cooking duels are present in both manga. Lovely Decoration lacks the fanservice that Food Wars has, though. 

Chicken Cutlet Princess and Lovely Decoration are two short shoujo comics where one of the main characters doesn't seem to be interested in something relating to food (chicken cutlets in... well... Chicken Cutlet Princess, and cooking in Lovely Decoration), though of course they eventually get involved with it, thanks to another main character. 

Lovely Decoration and Nijiro Prism Girl are two shojo stories about an athletic girl with at least one famous parent, but at first has no interest in following their related careers (Lovely features cooking while Nijiro features acting). They do end up in a situation that gets them to those careers anyway, and along the way is a more experienced boy who likes to tease them.
