Both mangas have main characters whose bodies are so saturated with poison that they have become assassination tools in themselves. However, Dokuhime is dark and twisted, while Apothecarius Argentum is lighter and "more shoujo"

It's sweet and sad and a little dark. It's absolutely perfect

Has similar drawings. In dokuhime the oldest prince is a sadist like kihara, while the second brother really reminds me of Baroqueheat.

Both have very beautiful & detailed artwork; Lolita outfits. Their dark atmosphere is the same and the characters are somewhat similar. Dokuhime however, tends to be a little more mature.

They may not have similar plots, but manga have the same sort of very dark shoujo horror atmosphere.

In Dokuhime & Reimei no Arcana, the heroines are married into enemy territory. Dokuhime is darker in theme & plotline but both still revolve around the girl's strong will to live in enemy country.

Both have a dark feel to them, and are by the same author. Shigeshoushi is more realistic and has more romance.
