If there's anything remarkable about A Tyrant's First Love, it's that I never actually witnessed a plot plummet so low that I'm pretty sure regardless of whatever story I read next, would not be as bad as this one. This was the worst thus far.
A Tyrant's First Love initially came off strong, which surprised me because I came into the manhwa reading a LOT of negative reviews about it. didn't really mind and threaded the chapters on wondering why it has a bit of a low score. Unfortunately, it didn't exactly took too long to figure out why.
The first ten chapters showcase what seems to be an interesting set of characters and the story seems promising but as the chapters go by, no development from either were shown. Instead, it seems like both characters and plot were regressing— and by the 20TH chapter, I realized I was either going to come out of this manhwa livid with hatred or pleasantly surprised by the story. I really wish it was the latter.
Alas, the manhwa gods hate me and as the author continue throwing and hurling plot points that doesn't make sense to the point that the story is no longer recognizable, I wonder if truck-kun could just appear in my bedroom and isekai me from away from this story. A tad bit dramatic I suppose but this just wasn't it, and unlike the times I say that this manhwa is probably just not for me, I'm pretty confident I'm not at fault this time.
