If you love romantic stories filled with hilariously cringy moments, adorable scenes that make you squeal, and a slow-burn build-up that's rewarding, then this manhwa is a must-read for romance enthusiasts.

The main characters, both in their thirties, are socially awkward and somewhat inept in the dating scene. Feeling the pressure from their friends and families, they decide to enter into a contractual marriage to fend off the constant questioning about their single lives. The contractual relationship trope is executed wonderfully in this story.

As the characters slowly fall in love, the development feels more realistic than fictional. The female lead takes bold actions that will leave ... you cheering for her, and the socially awkward yet deeply loving male lead adds a unique charm to the romance.

Despite the unconventional nature of their relationship, the interactions and revelations between the characters are skillfully executed, avoiding any forced or awkward pacing. The expressive facial expressions and spicy moments in their everyday lives keep the scenes lively and prevent them from becoming repetitive.

While the manhwa doesn't include explicit content, the kiss scenes and moments where the characters realize their feelings are portrayed with such depth that they surpass the impact of typical smut scenes. It's all about the emotions!

If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend giving this manhwa a try. It's a delightful romantic read, and I hope you find as much enjoyment in it as I did.

I got to around chapter 30 of this manhwa and decided to stop reading because it was kind of boring. However, after seeing some teasers into future episodes, I decided to pick it up again. I don’t regret it! It’s a very cutesy romcom manhwa, and I like that I can take a break from more serious ones to read that. The romance progresses pretty well, though I do agree with the other review that talked about the lousy secondary couple. I wish that there weren’t as many episodes about them.

All in all, I recommend this series as a cute and easy read to relax!

First of all, let’s just talk about how rare romance series about people in their thirties are. We love to see it. Even though the way the characters react isn’t always befitting of someone that age (ex: being super embarrassed about “confessing” or kissing,) we love to see it regardless.
I love Jia’s character. She’s a bit of a tsun-tsun, but not annoyingly so. It’s a bit obvious that Mincheol likes her BIG TIME and always has. As a couple, there is a lot of awkwardness between them which makes for plenty of funny moments, but since they were childhood friends there’s a sweetness and ... nostalgia there.
The plot is really cute. It’s a bit obvious, but things progress at a pace that isn’t stifling or annoying. Too much of the comic focuses on the side couple who are very boring and basic. I don’t know why almost a third of the comic is being devoted to such a basic storyline. If it weren’t for the basic ass couple I’d give this web comic a 7 so far, but with the boring secondary storyline, it gets a 6 so far.
