This is the 3rd part of the Breaker series. It continues exactly from where the 2nd part left off a few years ago. By now many people may have forgotten the hype that Breaker 2 had. But this manga keeps up the good work.

The story continues in full colour, as a webtoon. Art is top notch as always, colour makes things even better. It was fun seeing the old characters— Elders of Sunwoo, Shioon, Mamoongi, Jinni, etc. nostalgic.

I’ve seen some bad reviews here, but please don’t take them seriously. The starting is really slow and little boring as we are introduced to a new ... character— Ha Jae. We don’t love him, respect him....we don’t even care if he lives or dies. So many readers got frustrated as to why he is getting so much screen time. After a few chapters he’ll go back to being a side character, don’t worry. He’s just here to remind us of the huge gap between a normal human and a murim-in. And he will be helpful from time to time. He is rescued the same way Shioon was rescued by the 9arts dragon. At that time, many years ago......reading the first few chapters of the manga I used to be frustrated.....why is such a great martial artist spending time on a bullied kid. And now that kid has grown to be a cornerstone of the Murim world. Loved the writing, the character development that Lee Shioon got.

Ha Jae might grow to be a good character too. But enough about him. The real focus is on recovery of Shioon’s skills, and the return of The 9 arts Dragon. That will be epic.
I’ve read 35 chapters so far, and I have no regrets. Just go for it, if you loved the first 2 parts, then you’ll definitely love this.

I'm making this review solely based on the 19 chapters that have come out so far, so if you're reading this in the future it might not be as accurate. I'm pretty sure most people who read the past 2 prequels were stoked when this came out (especially after how the new waves concluded) but so far, it's been a pretty disappointing read. The author decided to add another main character and so far we've seen the continuation of the story from this new main character's point of view. If the story with Yi Shi-Woo was concluded, I'd have no problem with the author doing ... this. But instead of continuing with the main plot, he added this new main character who hasn't added any value to the story so far. The art is still amazing but it's colored now, so it has a different feel but it's still amazing. I don't know where the author plans to take this, but I hope it's a good conclusion to his two previous works.

I was looking forward to reading this but it is disappointing so far. Not sure why the authors introduced another main character which basically have the same origin story as the old main character. Instead of following the old main guy, we now need to follow another guy. It is super frustrating since I want to see how Shi-Woon improved and how he changed over time to be a better leader/ fighter after doing a lot of stupid stuff in the past 2 seasons. But now we gotta watch the new main character basically going through the same process again, doing dumb thing, getting wrecked ... every chapter and just follow whatever the other characters told him to do.

Hopefully the series will get better overtime but as of now (20 chapters in), the story is super boring and kinda easy to predict since it has similar plot as the first prequel. At this point, I am following the story to see what happen to Shi-Woon at the end, I basically skip most of the part with the new main character.
