i need this to be longer than 9 chapters and it's kind of bland and predictable at times but its still a solid ten out of ten because of Anubis

If no one takes the hot emo goat uncle, I want him as a present.

It's a silly and light-hearted fantasy romance about a human girl suddenly appearing in the Ancient Egyptian underworld, tasked with resolving Anubis's curse, a god who has lost all faith in humanity. Gives heavyyyy Kamisama Kiss vibes with the tsundere ML, determined FL, and human--non-human romance. Pains me that there are only two volumes, it deserved more T_T

The art style is really clean and nice, and I loved seeing Merit and Anubis's relationship grow. It can be cliche at times with the FL being kidnapped a couple times, but Merit is a strong FL who doesn't backdown quickly. The manga as a whole also attempts ... to be like a reverse-harem, but thankfully it doesn't hold up because Merit has eyes for one god only :P
