▶Summary and recommendation: -----------------------------------------------------------------
[Plant Monster Girl Diary ~I was a saint, but I was betrayed and reincarnated into Alraune, so from now on I will spend my plant life quietly while photosynthesizing~] is...
Do I need to summarise it? The entire premise is in the title!
The protagonist was a human native to the fantasy world who was betrayed and killed. She was reincarnated as a plant monster, and (for some reason) received the memories of a human from earth.
⚠️Contains scenes where the protagonist drugs children⚠️
⚠️Features sexualization of female characters⚠️

It is common in fantasy media for Alraunes to be depicted as beautiful naked ladies. It is quite telling that the author made the alraunes's skin human skin, instead of green or plant bark like most alraunes depicted in media, but I can accept that.
What is beyond acceptable is that when a juvenile / child alraune is introduced, they too are depicted similarly. As a naked little girl.
The protagonist will also wrap up a child in wines and comment on how she can feel the child's body, and I do not see why that was necessary for the author to point out.
Story wise, the premise is certainly unique. I do not think I have seen anything of the sort before. However, what the manga has done with the premise so far hasn't been particularly interesting.
I cannot recommend this.
▶Story: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Erm, it seems I am a plant monster now? I guess that is a thing I do". The way the story is introduced is not very elegant, and it comes across both rushed and nonsensical.
And sadly even beyond the introduction, it does not feel like the story has very much thought put into it. Things just happen to move the plot along, with little thought put into why and how it would make sense. Despite her predicament of being an immobile plant, most of the times she faces a challenge, the solution falls into her lap just as it happens.
She needs the ability to talk? She absorbs the power to talk. She needs to escape? She absorbs the power to dig into the ground.
The premise of having been betrayed by humans and then being turned into a monster is a quite compelling premise, but it does not seem like the author is in any rush to tackle that part of the story.
The constant focus on her lactating nectar, other people forcing themselves into her mouth to get said nectar.
Her always mentioning her sexual functions, organs and talking about being pollinated, and if she would grow melons or cucumbers.
Drugging a child.
Any chance this story had of being interesting is ruined by the author's inability to stop themselves from being gross.
▶Setting: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There isn't much of world building in this manga. She is stuck in a forest, and we don't learn much beyond that.
▶Characters: -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our protagonist has very few defining traits and seem more to be a blank reader insert for the reader to project their personalities onto.
She is originally from Earth, perhaps to aid with that. As it plays no other role in the story.
Her previous life as a Saint has a lot of potential, but it hasn't been explored yet.
▶Artwork: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The art is decent, with the monster designs standing out as quite good.
The background is not drawn for most scenes, though when it is drawn, it looks good. I have not noticed any 3D models being used.
As usual with Japanese comics, the comic is black and white, without colours.
▶In conclusion: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is a quite banal and simplistic story, and a missed opportunity where the story is at odds with the sexualization, and gross dialogue.
There are too many creepy things in this manga for me to not assume the author has bad intentions.
