Synopsis

Maryrose Hubert, the daughter of a duke, was once engaged to the kingdom's crown prince. However, he fell in love with a lowly maid named Tia, a woman who framed Maryrose for crimes she never committed. Despised by the public, Maryrose is sent to the gallows where she meets an untimely end. After her death, her younger brother swears vengeance and embarks on a decades-long journey to avenge her.

Years later, a countryside baron's daughter named Marie Edigma awakens to memories of her previous life—those of Maryrose. She desires a peaceful life away from those who hurt her in the past, but, against her wishes, Marie is thrust back into palace life when she is invited to work as a maid. This offer reunites her with her former brother, whose lust for revenge has led him astray, and her loyal knight who continues to uphold his oath of fealty to Maryrose. But as fate would have it, she meets her own killers' son—a prince who takes an immediate liking toward Marie.
