Why they always gotta axe the good shit?
I guessed that this one would just be another shitty shotacon fantasy, as implied by the synopsis I read, but it turned out to be completely different for the better. A werewolf child, saved by the female vampire, are now living together. I mean the perfect buildup for a shotacon story. But no, the author went in for the younger brother-older sister relationship, like the literal one. The struggles of their own while they support each other as brothers and sisters, is too wholesome to see. I was baffled for a moment to be honest and pleasantly surprised
...
as I was fully prepared for it to be dumpster trash (as shotacon mangas go).
The characters were good. I would not say they were necessarily well written apart from the two main characters, but they certainly were a joy to see. Also the other side characters did not get much screentime so the character writing overall was above average. Art was also decent.
But there came the inevitable axe and the abruptness of it could be seen as there was no try to give it a conclusion, an ending. So sad to see, really.
