Synopsis

One day, a large number of people suddenly disappeared in the royal capital. When young King Castio goes out to investigate this occurrence, he comes across the culprit... but the criminal puts a spell on him! To help him out, the king calls the wizard O'Feuille to his castle, along with Prince Volks and his loyal retainer Nios. Together, they're determined to solve this strange, fluffy mystery full of cats, swords and magic!

Mixed Feelings
Ou to Neko no Hihou is a light, short adventure and nothing more. The art is consistent and the four main characters make an interesting group. Castio is a shy but benevolent and sefless young king; Nios is his loyal duke who only worries about Castio's safety; O'Feuille is a wise and serious sorcerer; and Volks is his bubbly "sidekick" of sorts.

Their little adventure to solve the serial disappearances is funny and clever but the manga falls short on most other aspects. It doesn't really have much of a love story, which is not necessarily a problem, since it's very clear which characters have feelings ...
