As one would expect from the sheer size of this Manhwa A LOT happens in this story. Love and betrayal, politics and crime, life and death. The entire plot is flushed out from start to end with many twists and shock-factors: it's the kind of story which has you saying 'one more chapter' over and over until it's 3am and you have work in the morning (speaking from experience).
Leg's That Won't Walk follows a man named Kwon Soo Young, an ex-boxer who had to give up his passion following a leg injury. After meeting the ML, Park Tae Seung, he gets looped into a huge
...
gang war and begins a very dependant, unhealthy, and toxic relationship with Tae Seung.
There are so many different plotlines that slowly thread into the main story which keep the reader heavily engaged in every chapter. However, being that there are so many plotlines and characters, it wasn't difficult to get lost or confused. Though, the confusion was often short-lived in my personal experience, likely due to the quality of the writing and content clues or backstories/flashbacks throughout the Manhwa.
As mentioned above, the relationship between Soo Young and Tae Seung is extremely unhealthy. They are overly dependant on each other and Tae Seung is outrageously possessive and cruel. But the author never tries to make light of the relationship, the author knows it's toxic, the reader knows it's toxic, the characters, including Soo Young and Tae Seung, know it's toxic and that's what makes it so addicting.
Another incredible aspect of this story that should be highlighted is how high the stakes were. The author is not afraid to kill a few people, to have people beaten within an inch of their lives just to prove a point. The high stakes is what made this already very good story into an amazing story. It makes the reader emotionally invested, it gets their heart pumping as if they're in the story themselves.
Although this story is a commitment to read, it is 1000% worth it!
