I really enjoyed Tengoku no Hakoniwa. I consume a lot of sapphic content, and I'm always looking for things that are unique–this usually comes with a shift in setting. So when I saw this oneshot about two girls living together in a post-nuclear world, I was quite excited.
After reading it, while I did enjoy it, I really do think this would be much better in a properly flashed out series, rather than a oneshot. It's very clear that there's more to this world, but there isn't enough time for the story to develop them. All the positives of this manga are a double-edged sword

because it just makes me wish there was more. The (few) characters are very interesting, what with hidden motivations for certain characters and what-have-you. But that just makes me sad that the characters weren't explored more. The art was, to be frank, fantastic, which makes me wish I could have seen more of it. You see what I'm getting at.
Overall, I *would* recommend reading Tengoku no Hakoniwa, because that might get the mangaka to write a fleshed-out version.
