Simply, Tezuka's Black Jack is the father of all medical manga.

Both are medical mangas that expose the darker side of the medical field in Japan.

Both these manga revolve around medicine. Though Wild life is medicine for animals and TMD is for humans. TMD is also more concentrated on showing the corruption in a medical university while Wild life is more care free and comical. Both are great medical manga and if you liked reading one of them, you'll most likely like the other too!

Both of these manga are about two extremely talented doctors who have somewhat similar personalities, and both of the main characters acts in a way that is thought to be weird by other doctors. Also both of the main characters are thought to be able to change the way of the Japanese medical system. The main difference of the two manga is that Team Medical Dragon is more mature and explores the corrupt side of the Japanese medical system, while Saijou no Meii is more light hearted.

It's about surgery and whatnot... and the main character's vision is very similar! Ray has the ability to see through people so that's really similar.... no? :D

Both manga involve practicing medicine. Dr Duo is shonen while Iryuu is seinen (IMO)

Both series explores the medical field with a main protagonist as they hope to make a change in their world. There is an adequate amount of professional procedures related to the medical field and realism throughout both series. In addition, the main protagonists are intelligent and often undertakes risks to make a difference to save lives.

The main character in Piano no Mori (PnM) is what made me feel that the two were similar. These two main characters are both geniuses in their respective fields and they continuously strive to become better and better. Team Medical Dragon has a more serious political tone while PnM is lighter and comedic. There really is no other reason but the fact that after reading Team Medical Dragon, I was really reminded of the main character in PnM. But I guarantee that if you love reading about geniuses and you liked one of these, you will definitely like the other!

Both Mangas do a great job of exposing ills in the system, where in Akumetsu it's the government and in Medical Dragon it's the Health Organizations. Although the methodology of the protagonists is very different, the ideals are the same. Both are great mangas.

Both series deal with hospital politics and the corruption of a normal Japanese hospital/medicine. At least in the beginning for Monster though..Well developed seinens that are appropriate for a much older fanbase. And both main characters are genius surgeons.

Both feature somewhat realistic takes on disease treatment and management.

Both mangas have a main character that is, shall we say, eccentric, bold, and impulsive. The main character has to fight against a corrupt sort of system and the people the people that are trying to "protect it". Both main characters have a sort of essence to them that saves the people around them from being "sucked" into the system.

Both series deal with medical issues, while TMD is a more serious and realistic manga, Asklepios is a typical shounen manga (although it deals with medical issues), some situations are based on same diseases or the sort.

Even though Holyland and Team Medical Dragon focus on two separate subjects(Holyland is street fighting while Team Medical Dragon is about doctors), they are both equal interesting and show how people think in reality. They both also do a very great detailed explanation about the procedures and techniques that are used so the reader cannot be clueless.

Mangas with the focus on Medicine. Both Protagonist are outstanding Surgeons ( well, Teru is on the way of becoming one) and are a bit of Outsiders. Team Medical Dragon is more oriented towards mature audience and hospital-politics and Godhand Teru focuses more on character-growth and relationships.
