Synopsis

Ordinary office worker Rei Oohashi wakes up one day to find herself as Rae Taylor, the heroine of her favorite otome game, Revolution. Surrounded by attractive men all vying for her attention would be any maiden's dream—but that is not the case for Rae! None of them can hold a candle to the villainess, Claire François, whose blonde, drill-shaped ringlets only accentuate her haughty irresistible charm.

In the original story, Claire harasses and bullies the heroine, which drives the latter closer to the male love interests. But Rae has no intention of pursuing any of the men; her heart is set on Claire herself! Unused to being on the receiving end of affection, Claire is left at the mercy of Rae's endless teasing. With the power of true love, can Rae successfully convey her heartfelt feelings to the villainess?

Brief summary:

The story is about Rei, a girl who, after dying, is transported into her favorite otoge (or dating game) where she's a student at an extremely exclusive school with magic and the like, and she has to choose between the three princes that fall for her throughout the game.

Except, Rei has no interest in these princes, Rei's true goal is the game's villain, Claire who is supposed to act as a love rival/bully to her but she ends up trying to get together it *her* instead.

This manga has really inconsistent quality when it comes to storytelling. It is most likely due to its source materials, but regardless, I am here to critizice the plot and the characters.

The story progresses in the form of arcs, as manga usually does, but it does so in a really weird way. First we had a pretty chill slice of life, light romance arc, then followed by the infamous incest siblings arc, topped by the rapist yee yee ah haircut princess, followed by an action filled monster hunt arc, and then introduced to the MC's sad and enraging backstory... I have been told that the Light Novel (which the Anime is adapted from) is much less egregious than the manga, but as I have not read it, I can only comment on the manga.

It appears at first glance to be an unusual pro LGBTQ+ yuri Otome Isekai out of Japan.
But it is sadly tarnished by some twisted comparisons.
