Synopsis

Roland is known throughout the world as the Black Knight. He appears calm, cool, and collected on the outside, but secretly he’s anything but—he can’t talk to girls for the life of him.

One day, while doing his regular heroic thing, he comes across a slave girl bound and gagged. Roland suddenly realizes that if he saves this slave girl, he can slowly build up his social skills by talking to her. After all, a slave girl has to be as shy as him, right?

I saw this manga while browsing and reading the first few chapters.
Truthfully, I do not know if this series has ended or not considering the 1st chapter was translated back in 2020.

The story is uniquely impressive, we got a funny plot in what was supposed to be a cruel realistic world of adventuring. There are two mc's, the jovial slave and the powerful inexperienced knight.

In short, the two complement each other and learn to improve to become better versions of themselves. There is always respect for characters who stick to the ideologies that define them. Sometimes you don't need the funniest jokes or most epic ...
