Both female heroines have the same strong, cheerful disposition that just makes you like them, and have a way of genuinely accepting others that makes them quite popular among their peers.

The plot is very different, bit they are both light very enjoyable reads. I also think the art ia similari, and the fact that the side characters are weel developed as well

Both of these have very strong female characters! In both cases, they both have boyfriends who are equally strong and match them really well. The couples are very supportive of each other and really do love each other. :)

The art's are somewhat similar, and also their plot is similar in a way. Arisa's mangaka is the creator of Kitchen Princess. Both manga's talk about a group or thing conspiring against them, that result in troublesome situations, but still has some good romance scenes. Although Arisa has less since it just began, and involves trying to help her twin sister. While the heroine in Max Lovely, finds herself targeted for being extremely popular, by a mysterious cult called group *F*.

both protagonists are charismatic girls, liked by almost everyone in the school. they are talented at everything (except cooking) but are still likable because of their personalities. both mangas have an eclectic cast of characters and include love and comedy.

Somehow i feel its similar to this. The kids in kodocha sana and akito go thru ALOT more things before they are together. Its start with them being eniemies, unrequited love, then dating others even though they love each other. they end up together though.that reall all thats th same. Kodocha is a comedy, drama and romance manga too but i read kodocha first and i think you'd like it if you like max romance even though its much longer.
