Synopsis

A society where beastmen and humans coexist.

Michiru, a high school student who suddenly turned into a tanuki beastman one day, runs away from the human anti-beastmen advocates and makes her way to "Anima City," a city where beastmen live, to search for a way to turn back into a human.

While bewildered about the differences between the human cities and etiquette and that of beastmen, she starts learning about the way beastmen live.

If you watched BNA anime and liked it you will like this manga too. Style and story telling is kind of similar to the anime. It also refers to the anime many times and continues the story based on anime.

story 8/10
(So because Mal doesn't have a good synopsis to this manga) In short Michiru tries to find a suitable job for herself and at the same time explore how beastmen live in Animal city through day to day life. A cute extra bit of BNA for those that've seen the Anime. I honestly wish there was much, much more of it, but I get that Trigger doesn't really like to stick with IPs.

The characters stay consistent with their Anime equivalents, same with the setting and storytelling. It's just more BNA in a different medium, and that's honestly all one could wish for.

The only real critique I can provide is its story feeling a bit too grand, for supposedly taking place before the events of the later BNA Episodes, but after some of the family stuff has happened.
