Created by the same author and artist, they share a similar tone and atmosphere of terror and suspense. You can get easily invested in both because of how gripping the plot is.

Supernatural powers spread like a disease, and the power they receive will be based on their desires. The power can take over if they are not careful in controlling them and their desires, which will turn them into a disgusting monster. Both have horror and action, both have romantic subplots, both have lots of death.

1. Both manhwas are set in the same location, sharing the same world and universe. 2. Both stories involve characters fighting for survival against formidable threats. In Sweet Home, it's monsters and creatures, while in Shotgun Boy, it’s brain-eating creatures. 3. In both manhwas, the main character(s) find themselves in situations where they have to confront dangerous enemies with limited resources or abilities. Gyuhwan from Shotgun Boy and the residents of the apartment complex in Sweet Home both face daunting challenges. 4. Both of these series follow a post-apocalyptic world after a majority of humanity turned into despicable monsters reflecting their own desires. Another thing in common is the wimpy protagonist who goes through heaps of character development. Lastly, both of these series have a rather slow start and really start to shine later on in their respective stories.

Can't say too much due to spoilers, but there are a lot of similar elements of living with the darkness within you and trying to survive in a world with monsters

Both are suspenseful, gory, and apocalyptic manga with grotesque monsters and you follow the characters as they try to survive.

Both of the main characters are relatively quiet and have dark backstories and both Webtoons focus on those expected to be weaker. However, this does have a monster element but has a wholesome message behind the entire series.

Survival Horror, lots of uncertainty and fear, probably supernatural elements but it's a mystery in both series. Similar vibes of trying to scavenge in abandoned places

i haven’t read something that triggered the sleeper agent tokyo ghoul fan in me for years but gd this did the trick. modern monsters, a sketchy emotive art style, and a passively suicidal main character who kinda sucks, has inner demons, and must fight his evil alter ego manifested??? i am thriving.

Barely a chapter into Night of Shadows I was reminded of the Sweet Home atmosphere, and I believe that if you enjoy one of them, you might likely enjoy the other! I, for sure, am delighted to find another title similar to Sweet Home! Both series share: * An anti-social protagonist; * Disturbing, grotesque monsters that kill and/or eat humans, and are very difficult to kill; * World-wide Monster Apocalypse;

Both manhwa are dark fantasy survival set in a post apocalyptic world with monsters, with an pleasant development, great plot and a fantastic work of scenery art in Leviathan, while Sweet Home has a notable unique style. Both have very interesting stories and obstacles in their environments, developing a great sense of mortality every chapter. Without any spoiler, here are some informations: Leviathan counts with the idea of a world completely covered in water, surviving while being constantly in fear, not knowing if there is any other humans alive and what is under the water that surrounds you going as far as your eyes can see, being  read more
