We have a terrible hitman. We have a picked up girl. We have a Rimukoro (Senko-san creator). The matchup couldn't get any more awkward.
A Terrible Hitman & Picked Up Girl is a story I would say is great as a standalone, but rather it is, is actually a decent read. Obviously, if you have read Senko-san, or hell if you are that one dude who hasn't read Senko-san and came across this first, in both scenarios, entering this story can seem like a really strange match up due to background reasons or even

the fluffy art style. Though I must tell you that whilst this isn't a must-read, it is an alright one.
The story is not that special, it is basically a hitman planning to kill this girl he picked up as time heads forward. The relationship between the two blooms from there on though. The way the story goes around things, you can tell that Rimukoro wasn't planning on making this series anything big. Character interactions will prove as such since they are really simple and straight to the point. Simply a simple story.
Art-wise, it is good, it is fluffy art mixed with a few blood and violence here. Nothing of gore, but there isn't any hold back on the blood. It might seem a little strange to get into, but I got used to it after the first two chapters, maybe you will too. Just good art I suppose.
I enjoyed this. It wasn't the best thing in the world but considering its short stand, it makes well for a standalone. I read this in about half an hour. That is fast even for me. So I would recommend this to anyone, though I suggest reading Senko-san first just because of the background I suppose. You won't get a lot, but you may like it in the moment of reading it.
