Choppiri Toshiue demo Kanojo ni Shite Kuremasu ka? It is kind of weird but also spicy.

On the surface level, the premise sounds illegal, but who cares? This is a manga -a fiction, and the author is not promoting it; they are just writing a cute story about it.

It's weird seeing a very young boy entering a very mature relationship where one must have patience, experience, and understanding. Most of us know that youth loves are the wild ones or the most unrestrained love of them all. Nothing is limiting them except that they are underaged because they do not have any responsibilities. This series exposes ... our protagonist, a young male student, in the life of an adult (his partner) who is very pure as she is sheltered from any "sins" of the world.

It's quite cliche how this big-breasted woman who would most likely be lusted by her peers has no experience, yet she gets exposed to some lewd some just when she got her first boyfriend. But still, it's cute, so I do not really mind.

What bothers me, though, are some forced dramas throughout the series to progress the story. Personally, a little bit of daily life focused like casual dates are enough, but throughout 19 chapters, a lot has happened (tho each chapter has about 30-40 pages). If you are more into a slow-paced one, I don't recommend binging to the latest chapter.

Overall, this is very inoffensive but also not impressive. I categorize this as one of the "trash" manga that we consider our guilty pleasure series.

This one is a no-brainer read, so you can just turn off your brain and just enjoy reading this cute yet "horny-inducing" story with a very not legal couple.

It's alright. Wouldn't work if the genders were reversed though. Or at least, the rating would be way lower than 6.5.

Both the 15 year old guy and the 27 year old woman are experiencing love for the first time, so they're really awkward and pure. There are some risque moments but they're kind of appropriate, and they actually de-escalate over time as the protagonists get to know each other and decide to take their time.

The only unrealistic thing is how accepting their friends are of their relationship, even though it's illegal. It makes you wonder if they'd be okay if it was a 27 year ... old dude being in a relationship with a 15 year old girl. I don't think they would...

But since the relationship in this manga stays pure overtime and there's a nice twist in the end, I end up rooting for the leads. Hopefully it works out for them.

Still, this one is weird, but it managed keep me interested, the art was alright, there was no unnecessary drama at all, and the characters were kind of based, therefore I think it's worth reading if you want something somewhat entertaining but not really that deep. At least I wasn't bored for the 2 hours it took me to read this.

After several months, I finally managed to finish the last 10 chapters of this series. What a slog...though I guess some might take a liking to the otherwise bland story, characters, and 'drama' we have here.

Let's skip over the whole morals debate, as obviously this manga is targeted at a niche audience. Besides, even morally ambiguous stories can be thrilling to read if the author actually does something with the plot spiciness.

Such is not the case here.

For me, the mediocrity of this manga manifests in several aspects that form a one big MEH:

1) The female lead is 27 years old, yet in terms of behavior/mentality, ... she's pretty much around 14. I'm so tired of this trope. You get the supposed adult/'onee-san' type FMC, and then you make her awkward/ditzy/anxious/'pure' and all that bullshit. Choppiri's heroine combines all of these tired tropes into one and is utterly uninspired.

2) The drama is bland too, and at times it's so badly forced down the reader's throat that you can't help but laugh. I think my drop-off point before picking this up again was around the beginning of camping trip. Possibly one of the biggest snoozefest story arcs I've read in a while.

3) The art isn't something to write home about either. When you get all of these bland aspects, at least elevating your series with some gorgeous panels/raunchier stuff might do the trick. Nah, nothing here either.

4) Character growth? Why would you even need that, amirite?

All in all, this is one big fat 4/10 and a total pain to finish without falling asleep.

For the older woman/younger guy romance trope, you can check 'Kimi No Okaasan Wo Boku Ni Kudasai'. More realistic female lead, A LOT of personal growth coming from the younger dude. An overall great series.

Another alternative that's steamier and way, way more dramatic, is 'Tramps Like Us'/'Kimi Wa Pet'.

Both of these approach the younger man/older woman relationship dynamic in a more interesting, deeper, more versatile way.
