Up to chapter 33 of the manga.
The story is just straight up well written, both the characters and the world have facets and are interesting. The manga tells about Tooru going on adventures as a semi experienced adventurer having years of training and being quite smart and stoic with cool companions that actually appear to be interesting plot wise.
The important antagonist all are pretty good written characters, they have motivations that feel real, real objectives and are not actually idiots. The strategic and creative thinking in battles is all based on before related information glimpsed from the story so I find it cool to see

I typed up a pretty generic review of this manga, since this story is one of the many uninspired slow-life stories where the mc gradually gets stronger with his added harem members, but that review would be just as or even more generic/boring than the actual manga — instead, I’ll give a rundown of what to expect. The characters are simply flat — the mc is as dry as a dry mc can be, and the fmc is just boring, as she has no other purpose than to be swooning over the mc or present herself as useful when the times comes.
