Synopsis

In slasher horrors, the first to die is always the promiscuous girl. Whether it be in the midst of intercourse or as she is taking a bath, the movie takes the chance to show off her body, and then shamelessly kills her in a bloody and ruthless fashion.

A young man in modern-day Japan wakes up in the body of Summer, one of five main characters in the movie "18th Day Sacrifice." Unfortunately, Summer is the exact type of character who dies first: a sexy and experienced woman. Though the world seems out to kill her, Summer resolves to survive till dawn breaks and be the final girl to remain alive.

Short, good, fun story. I liked the concept of being trapped in a horror movie. Summer/Protag was relatively likeable. Nice ending as well.

Pretty good art, not absolutely outstanding but it was nice to look at and kinda unique. Not overwhelmingly detailed but also not incredibly simple.

If you're a fan of slasher horror films then this manga is for you. Here we see generic tropes that most slasher movies follow, from having a group of teens on vacation in a summer beach house to having a silent knife-wielding psycho. The story starts with this guy reading about Tips on surviving a horror movie, seconds later he is isekaid into a horror movie scenario. There are comedic moments that might seem familiar to you if you're a horror fan. Both the art and the characters are pretty good, the story is simple yet enjoyable.

Quick read, but I enjoy a lot of it.

This is one of my favorite one-shots of all time. Not only did it deliver good comedy but the also nailed a simple yet fun read ever. I can't recommend this one-shot enough.

The 2 only downside of this though is the side character and the story.
I feel like the side character is such a waste, like, they forgot all the guys in the end like what? 😂
For the story problem, it is not too major. It's just weird they make it a cliffhanger/open-ended. I know it's for the sake of getting a laugh but for me it's ...
