Insomniacs and Neko no Otera are both good manga that is very simple and use that simplicity to grow their story. On the surface, the two don't really have any kind of plot to differentiate them from them for the rest, however, they are both really simple romance based on teenagers who wish to set out in bettering themselves, and socialise in a way that relates to every one of teenager years too. They offer a scope of realism which is something that isn't seen too often in the medium. Both are good Ojiro Makoto manga that I would highly recommend as they are nothing short of some of the best things romance manga can give. Very fast chapters to speed through but understand the content. Great for everyone. read more 

Same author, it gaves me the same very peaceful and chill vibes. I'm pretty sure if you have liked one of them, you're gonna like the other one 

Same author. Her works are amazing, great characters, story, and the art is impressive! If you liked Chion-san, you will probably enjoy this one too. While Chion is pretty calm, Insomnia is more dramatic, and both are very good. 

Both series are by the same author within the same genre and tone. That alone is a pretty decent reason why someone may enjoy both. Both series feature a boy and girl growing closer and building up a connection. The impetus for this varies between the two, along with the characters being all very different. "Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki" is more ecchi than "Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia" 

Insomniacs and Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki both are very simple stories that may seem bad but are actually very well made in the name of simplicity. Often times simple stuff gets associated with generic though I must assure you with the entire premise of simple romance here Insomniacs and Shishunki are all the better to read as they execute their stories well. Based on the lives of students experiencing their own set of difficulties being accompanied by the one they are associated with. It ends up making for a wholesome story that whilst they may seem like little they are a one of a kind in the grand scape of the medium. Both are great Ojiro Makoto manga that does a splendid job at conveying a realistic romance story. Both are very easy to read, fast chapters and quite fluffy. read more 

Both start with an odd duo appreciating the silent nightlife together and learning to care deeply for each other in the process. Insomniacs after school takes a more realistic approach with two highschoolers whereas Call of the Night has the added supernatural element of vampires.
