Synopsis

On the outside, otome villainess Lieselotte Riefenstahl seems foul in every way, a purely evil character. However, as revealed in her diary, she was always hiding both her pain and her true feelings for Prince Siegwald Fitzenhagen. While she keeps this locked away, an evil witch ultimately possesses her, leading to her demise—a tragic end for the tsundere villainess. This is how the story always goes, an end coded into the game MagiKoi.

Broadcasting club members Aoto Endou and Shihono Kobayashi decide to play this game. In another universe, Prince Siegwald hears their voices, believing it to be a divine revelation from a god and goddess. These voices clue him into something he never noticed before: Lieselotte is actually overwhelmingly adorable!

There are no resets in this game, and just one chance to change the future for the ill-fated villainess. In years to come, these two entities, who would guide the country to prosperity and greatness, would be known as play-by-play Endou and color commentator Kobayashi!

I'm not typically the person to write a review of a series but since it seems like there aren't too many others I figured I'd add my two cents to hopefully convince you to give this a quick read.

Story: 8/10

Although the story is not life changing it is certainly unique and has a fun "meta" feel to it as it sees two characters comment on tropes of manga like what it means to be a tsundere while guiding along characters in a video game to the happiest ending possible. I've seen many tsunderes but Lise is one of the best tsundere villainess'. Her villainess titles comes from her tsundere behavior and that makes the story even better! The two commentators have their own story as well which I really liked. I like that every character in and outside the story play a role in some way. Other than that, the comedy is one of the best. Its pure and just funny. Although I like all characters, Lise is the best part of the story tbh. This isnt the typical villainess manga, its different and has a plot that isnt repetitive.
