As good as I think "Hanagara Tsumi" is - glamorous, verbal and textural - it really isn't making me feel much more than lightly entertained. My personal tastes just don't align that well with what is on offer here. That's fine and I am glad to see that lots of people enjoy this, as I can easily understand why. I do continue to be slightly fatigued by the inanity of concepts covered in Omegaverse manga - after all, for a world so deeply hierarchical (with obvious physical, psychological and sexual differentiation going on), every story that takes up this conceptual load is so quick to

dismiss it out of hand for what are the prevailing ideological tenants of today's western world (e.g. universalism, egalitarianism, progressivism etc). Ultimately I've always seen Omegaverse (and many other female dominated fictional universes) as being allegorical maximalism. This prism just isn't being used to show the full spectrum of discourse on relevant subjects just yet though. 6/10
