Synopsis

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is a manga about "the war of love and brains" between two high school geniuses who try to make the other confess. This, however, is an "ero spinoff" that'll make you wish it were part of the main series!

The Kaguya-sama doujin operates on a very strange level of quality. Initially it starts off as an ero-comedy going solely for shock humor. However, it eventually takes a turn into wholesome content and solid storytelling in certain chapters, ditching the ero content almost entirely. The second half of Doujin-ban makes the experience a positive one in the end. While I wasn't having any fun scanning the first 11 chapters and being subjected to out-of-character perversions of characters I hold very dear (Kaguya-sama is my favorite anime after all), reading through them ended up being worthwhile in the end as the kindergarten arc and other chapters read more

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is one of my favourite manga of all time. So naturally, when I heard that there was an official doujin, I simply could not not read it. And I do not regret it a single bit.

The story in Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Doujin-ban is crazy to say the least. Initially, I thought that this manga would simply be the usual daily life shenanigans of the characters of Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai with a lot of ecchi scenes. However, that ended up not being the case, and it started bringing the characters into alternate timelines, where they aren't the high school students we all know. read more

Preliminary
This is a non-canon spin-off manga based on Kaguya-sama: Love is War.

Now, because of the title and description you might think the purpose of this manga is the ecchi fan service, it's true, but only for the very first chapters, after that it ends up having the same idea of comedy that we can see in the main story and the ecchi idea disappears almost completely.

The story is composed by:
- Parodies of general knowledge stories or scenes we saw previously in the main manga.
- "Romantic" development between characters (fan service for the ships the fan base love).
- Alternative storylines (something like filler).
- Short stories read more

Preliminary
I don't do reviews that much, and this is only my second, so I thought I try it out. The first thing this is not canon just to get it out of the way. Instead, you have a butch of strange short stories that sometimes continue with the story and some that don't and lots of fan service.

The art and character are the same from the show/manga, and there really is nothing it adds or takes away from the show/manga.

The story is alright with bizarre themes; there are some funny scenes and some decent enjoyment throughout the manga.

Overall I would not read read more
