There's a heavy dose of Bleach influence in Jujutsu Kaisen, together with similar themes makes it be eerly similar in nature and design to pre-Soul Society Bleach.

Both have similar power/magic systems, that are structured in very similar ways. Both are dark battle fantasy manga. Both have strong horror elements. Both have memorable casts of memorable characters.

-They both deal with the supernatural -They are both action packed and more violent and disturbing than your typical Shonen Jump manga -They both have fun sets of characters -The characters constantly have to fight against dangerous and evil supernatural creatures

-Dark shounen trio CSM, JJK, JGKK >Both main characters are being forced into unwanted situation >Both are action packed and with darker horror gory vibe >Both have great artstyles, and characters <jjk is in modern era, other one isnt personal comment=> read few chapters, i bet it wont dissapoint just a bit similiar to HxH Chimera Arc tho

The operant word here is vibes. Jujutsu Kaisen gives of a lot of similar vibes to Yu Yu Hakusho. Be it similarities between Yusuke and Yuji or the fighting of demons or the overall aesthetic of both series. Yu Yu Hakusho is even referenced a couple of times in Jujutsu Kaisen, the author offering up clear nods to an influence of hers. I’ll go so far as to say Jujutsu Kaisen is the modern Yu Yu Hakusho so if you like one I guarantee you’ll like the other!

Both of these manga deal with spirits and the occult, but Dandadan has the added benefit of ALIENS. Also instead of having a Sukuna, a demon lord with insane power, stuck inside the mc, he has TURBO GRANNY, a horny overpowered super speedy grandma spirit, that makes the mc of dandadan super depressed. If u want sick action and hilarious character chemistry, and you like jujutsu kaisen Dandadan is for you.

Phantom seer’s phantoms are very similar to jujutsu kaisen’s curses, however it doesn’t have the depth in combat and the character’s aren’t as likeable. A couple of the phantoms look cool though
reportRecommended by SteamedPlague
This two manga have a few similliar characteristic: 1) The MC have a monster in theirs body, 2) There a 3 people with 1 teacher/master in the team that MC belongs. and 3) The MC also stupid like naruto, there a character that cold like sasuke that same team with MC
reportRecommended by Darksteros
Extremely strong MC made to face odds that he shouldn't be able to overcome, but does so anyway when he finds strength from his friends. Ayashimon boasts a more refined art style, but Gege Akutami knows how to express himself through the dynamic paneling and figures shown in Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsu Kaisen also has more developed character dynamics, but that's natural when something has a longer run than just 25 chapters.
reportRecommended by boonesies
The two are similar in that the hero is no longer human and has become either a monster or a demon.
reportRecommended by SouhaylTP
Both are battle shounen with a supernatural element, also a similar team structure and a lot of consecutive fights.
reportRecommended by xShinigami3125
Both have excellent action sequences and Sakamoto days has the same high risk feel and has a few strengths that Jujutsu kaisen doesnt like better panneling and art and also a comedy aspect (only in a few chapters) i feel like JJk also has a more linear storyline but they still share a similar style of storytelling

-They both take place in present day Japan -They both deal with the occult and the supernatural -They both have teams of young characters and they have to fight against evil supernatural creatures -They have fun character casts

near and allens relationship and shit is similar to sukuna and yujis except near isnt anywhere near as chaotic or evil allen gets marked as a traitor to kill like yuji when he injested sukuna curse spirits are created from humanity like the akumas are

-MC has high physical stats/is quick on his feet -Mc is more serious, brave and intelligent than you would think after a single glance -MC lives his life in a certain way because of a family member (jujutsu kaisen: grandpa/ 23-ku tokyo majo: brother) -Although there is a difference, MC would sacrifice his life to save someone else: Jujutsu kaisen: he wants to save as many people as possible before he is killed/23-ku tokyo majo: he will sacrifice himself for his brother) -The powersystems in both manga are unique -The art style gives me a similar feeling (subjective) -The authors give a different spin to well-known themes  read more

Jujutsu Kaisen is heavily inspired/influenced by Evangelion. Both stories are crazy similar. You'll be hyped when you find out. Lastly in easy words, both have similar theme and plot.

curses and demons are pretty similar concepts both stories have the main character gathering the pieces of a curse to get rid of it

Super-natural elements, funny moments that alternate with some darker ones, the entp character that isn't the main character but gets all the simps anyway. Hanako is a bit less mature than JJK, but I love the curse/spirit trope. Give it a try.

while the plots may not seem similar, the way that the manga’s are set up and a lot of other parts are similar enough that it makes a good rec! i love both of these manga’s and i know you will to!

Both manga deal with the supernatural as if it were part of everyday life. There are complex linkages between practitioners of spiritual skills and government and business organizations. The characters, despite being powerful practitioners of magic, have to deal with day-to-day bureaucracies, such as salary, employment, personal relationships, etc. In both, there is a character who is much more powerful than the rest of the cast. And every structure of alliances and conflicts takes place trying to entice or stop this character. In both series, anyone can die, even if is a important supporting character.
reportRecommended by Gustota
Inside the main character, there's a strong and dark persona who's being kept in check, even though he sometimes surfaces and takes over his body. *Both have supernatural beings in common.

You love Saitama? You love well handled overpowered characters, then you'll find Gojo interesting. Also, have you noticed Saitama is more of a side character after the first season? Yuji might be strong but he's not overpowered in his universe where there are so many more powerful sorcerers. That's why, even though in the opposite way, he ends up like a background character just like Saitama. You get to learn more about both main characters bit by bit.

To be honest these manga was really great when I'm reading Jujutsu Kaisen I think about Shingeki no Kyojin they had a lot of similarities between them, firstly they had a good art when it's double page, it has a really good gore for a Shounen manga and not only that they might have the same ending when these manga end, so if you want to read a bit of a gory manga then I recommend this they might not be that gory but it's really good I highly recommend it.

Bible to Gege, so many similar themes. One of Gege's favorite manga & inspiration r as stated in the jjk fanbook, - Screaming at the similar character designs. - This is where Gege got his curses inspiration from

Jujutsu Kaisen sort of feels like a slightly more grown-up version of Soul Eater. Both have a fun cast of quirky characters and lots of funny dialogue. These series both also manage to incorporate their humor into a story with a lot of more serious action and horror elements, without sacrificing the drama of those more serious elements.
reportRecommended by AgnesVardaStan
Both these titles stand out to me for their compelling characters. Both series feature a large cast of characters (who manage to be bizarre in a way that feels totally believable) who are just a joy to read. If you're sick of action manga with bland dialogue scenes, give Golden Kamuy a try.

Both are dark fantasy battle shounen manga with memorable characters, incredibly well drawn action scenes and engaging storylines. Both have very lively protagonists that desire to help people, using their special abilities. Both have horror themes and vibes.

Both are dark fantasy shonen manga that deal with the killing monsters. Both have great art styles and take place in urban settings in Japan.

Aliens Area is like an alien version of Jujutsu Kaisen but instead of the MC being in school they are a member of the Men In Black. I have only read the first two chapters of Aliens Area but I have been really enjoying the pacing, art, fight choreography, and characters. I finished chapter 4 and there is 0 fan service in the manga so far, I hate fan service so I greatly appreciate its absence in this manga.

Both series are urban supernatural fantasies based on the occult focused on particular families/groups that exorcise evil and deal with internal political strife. These series are also fairly intricate and have magic systems with fights focusing more on tactics and strategies.
reportRecommended by Manji
At first glance, Alice In Murderland and Jujutsu Kaisen are nothing alike. One is a shojo title about a family killing each other for the position of heir. The other is a shonen series about exorcising curses. But underneath all that, thematically the trials Stella and Itadori face are quite similar. From the beginning, both protagonists share their body with an immensely strong but incredibly dangerous entity. They struggle with their own identity and who is in control for which battles. They have to deal with the ones they should be able to rely on wanting them dead. Ultimately, both series are about deciding who  read more

Both have a similar feel and the themes are overlapping. If you like either one of these two manga, you'll most probably love the other one, too. I'd say the biggest difference are the characters themselves and the tone of the manga. JujuKai adds more of a comedic feel to it, while Kise has a tiny bit more gore (juuuust a smidgen... okay quite a bit but not too much).

Jujutsu Kaisen and Psyren are both their own series yet the two feel as though they’re related. Both series are written by authors that are clearly fans of Togashi’s works and those influences shine through in both. I can guarantee that if you like either of these series then you will also like the other, they’re two sides of the same good shōnen coin.

- both have dumb but determined MCs - action - demons / exorcists - pretty art - funny faces - pretty teachers ;) honestly I'm bad at comparing stuff but the two mangas are super similar and both are great as heck!

Although Basilisk is based around ninjutsu techniques, and Jujutsu Kaisen around cursed techniques, the characters utilizing said techniques get extremely creative with how they can come through. Very imaginative and gorey from both sides. Two of the characters from both Basilisk and Jujutsu have also very similar techniques and character creation. In both stories there are also clans/houses that have specific bloodline.

Similarities (considering After God just started for now): √ Aesthetically pleasing artstyle, in the darkish horror vibes spectrum. √ Clever depiction of fantasy prompt/concept. √ Overpowered characters in amazing character design. √ Diverse personalities that makes the story interesting, which lead to funny and entertaining interactions between the characters. √ Main character have the "demon/God-like" power.

The main argument as to why I think these two manga are similar, is the energy that both Toriyama and Akutami bring to the page. Jujutsu Kaisen and Dragon Ball have the most vibrant panelling that I've seen in the entire medium, action scenes are incredibly intricately choreographed, but drawn in a way that is easy to follow, characters can pop out of their respective panels, and the two styles of actually constructing a page of manga (which are extremely important, but often unnoticed when reading) are energetic but digestible in the best ways possible. Another similarity is the fact that the action never stops  read more

- Both series deals with the protagonist as something supernatural, but part human. - Supernatural creatures. - Demon/supernatural schools. - Both main characters don’t have much, to any family left. - Character relationships are kinda similar. - Villains who wants power over the worlds. - Interesting battles! - Both are very underrated [Hopefully will both get more recognition when Jujutsu gets its anime and if Ao no Exorcist gets a third season].
