Preliminary (13/? chp)
This series started off great. The premise is very funny, and was able to sustain itself for a few chapters, but it became very bland very quickly. I suppose there's only so much you can do with the premise of "manly man takes on a traditionally feminine role" before it goes stale. I think this would've worked better as a single volume, or as part of a larger series of vingettes.

That said, the art is very solid throughout, at least what I've read. It's not spectacular or particularly unique, but it is very competently done. The character designs are interesting, and I want to eat ...

It starts as an absolute blast, but quickly begins to lose steam, and past chapter 20 or so just keeps slowly trudging along, while producing an occasional chuckle.

Characters are mostly used as as source of gags (meaning don't expect development here), but the art is quite good, and a lot of jokes revolve around drawing ganster or people with menacing/serious expressions. Speaking of art, there are no chibis and stereotypical manga/anime characters with triangular faces, characters are realistic (as far as manga goes), and with detailed background.

The main issue is the manga losing its steam, as you can only push the premise so far ...

It wasn't bad for the first couple chapters. It has some really funny ideas and I liked the mangakas creativeness when creating the world of the story. Unfortunately, the gimmick of "people are scared of the MC" falls off super quickly. I read the first 58 chapters hoping there might be some story added. Unfortunately, there was only one arc that lasted for more than one chapter, and even so, it was 2 chapters long.

If you don't care about an overarching story, it's great. But the story feels like a comic strip more than a manga. Characters will get up to some wacky situation ...

A lighthearted comedy slice of life centered around one joke- a berserk yakuza turned househusband. There is no storyline, every chapter is an excursion in Tatsu’s life. There is no depth either, nothing to make you care for these characters. The charm is how the author makes everyday mundane activities fun and entertaining. Even with all these flaws, you will not be bored. The art and dialogue are above average for this genre. If you are a big fan of these genres, this is probably an 8/10, but if you value emotional power above all else as I do, I think you will have close ...
