This is probably one of the cutest romcom manga out there.

No drama BS, no stupid cliches, no massively dense character, no school romance, no NTR (so far) just about vanilla romance from day 1 with tons of sweet, cute, comedic, and heartwarming scenes. This is just the perfect manga for all romcom fans like me. Each chapter is just like a complete healing from stressful, lonely everyday life.
One thing i'm worrying is that the story might be going into fantasy-fictional direction in the future so i hope the writers won't ruin the slice of life elements in it.

Overall 8/10 from me so far.

Tonikaku Kawaii is a love story that skips the getting together of a couple and just starts off with couple living the newlywed life. Though I enjoyed reading the manga in the beginning, I had begun to lose interest as I continued.

I felt like Tonikaku Kawaii's avoidance of typical romance manga story elements proved to be a double edged sword. It skips straight to the cute fluff of two newlyweds, which can be incredibly refreshing. However, the characters in the manga encounter no romantic difficulties or any hardships throughout the entire course of the story, making the story boring for the reader as more time ... goes on. Without any romantic mishaps or hardships, the couple hardly every grows or progresses, making the manga feel static.

I felt like the characters were average to below average at best. The main hero, Nasa, is similar to a harem protagonist. He can solve any problem, he's romantically inept, and he's a beta male. Their is no NTR in the story, but another man is never introduced and the side characters are so forgettable because they're sole purpose is to fulfill certain archetypes. I don't have a lot to say about the main girl. She is cute.

I think the art was solid. It wasn't exactly amazing but it got the job done well.

Overall, I think it is a cute manga, just don't expect any character development or depth. Though I might be tough on the manga, I did find some chapters to be enjoyable.

P.S I didn't realize this but the main guy is 18 and the girl is 16 I thought they were a lot older lol

Lets get one thing out of the way, it's a series about a married couple. They get married in the first chapter and they enter their married life. Somehow, this setup gets equated with an amazing rate of relationship progress, where the story skips the awkward will they or won't they. Yet despite that, it's still the series about two milquetoast, awkward teens who struggle with the basic intimacy so much you'd think that they are grade schoolers.

Reading this series is like seeing a beautiful bird stretch out his wings, fly up high and then fly head first into a window and break his ... neck. It has all elements it needs to success as a romance and chooses to waste them for being just a cutesy slice of life. To elaborate, it's a story about the married life of the two extraordinary people that bends over backwards to keep their relationship from properly developing and to squash the actual interesting parts about their characters. In the 54 chapters I've read, the series somehow manages to actively add elements that seem to serve no purpose other than acting as random roadblocks to ensure that main characters relationship stays at the level of teenage dating, despite them living together. They are much closer to roommates than any married couple.

This series is ultimately a rather mediocre slice of life, made worse by all the wasted potential it has. Yes, I've only read 54 chapters and I'm aware that this series teases some greater secrets. But lets be honest, if a series feels like a boring chore by the chapter 54, it's not worth reading more more of it.
