This is probably one of the cutest romcom manga out there.

No drama BS, no stupid cliches, no massively dense character, no school romance, no NTR (so far) just about vanilla romance from day 1 with tons of sweet, cute, comedic, and heartwarming scenes. This is just the perfect manga for all romcom fans like me. Each chapter is just like a complete healing from stressful, lonely everyday life.
One thing i'm worrying is that the story might be going into fantasy-fictional direction in the future so i hope the writers won't ruin the slice of life elements in it.

Overall 8/10 from me so far.

Let me preface this by stating that this is my first review on MAL. I've done other reviews as u_menace on reddit so some of you may recognize me. Anyway, here's my sales pitch for this manga, as it deserves a hell of a good one! Please note that this review contains very minor spoilers (mostly pertaining to story design) but I've tried to keep it as spoiler free as possible!

Do you:

Like vanilla romances?
Hate NTR?
Feel irritated by pointless drama?
Want to see what happens post-confession?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then this series is for you! Tonikaku Kawaii is a love ...

Warning, addictive content ahead.

Vanilla romances, heartwarming, comforable moments... these are what I can found from this manga. Being written by the same author as Hayate the combat butler but directed in a different way, I can surely see how he transfer his talent from the previous work to this new installment. The character designs are similar but way more smoothier and loverlier than before, while lovely story stirs up the enjoyment of each chapter. My soul is healed after every chapter I read. Highly reccommend to people who like slice of life like K On, Yuru camp, Hyouka, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! but also ...

If you are a fan of Hata Kenjiro's works, then you will probably like this. A short summary if you don't want to keep reading this review would be; it's everything I wanted Hayate to become.

The jokes that are usually present in all of Hata-sensei's works are present here. I'm enjoying this new work from him a lot since it flows much better than the later parts of Hayate and is way more coherent while maintaining the classic comedy style that we come to expect from Hata-sensei.

The mood that is set is relaxed and fluffy at times, while being comedic at others and it makes ...

Tonikaku Kawaii is a love story that skips the getting together of a couple and just starts off with couple living the newlywed life. Though I enjoyed reading the manga in the beginning, I had begun to lose interest as I continued.

I felt like Tonikaku Kawaii's avoidance of typical romance manga story elements proved to be a double edged sword. It skips straight to the cute fluff of two newlyweds, which can be incredibly refreshing. However, the characters in the manga encounter no romantic difficulties or any hardships throughout the entire course of the story, making the story boring for the reader as more time ...

Honestly, I just got done reading the latest chapter and I'm massively disappointed. As of chapter 189, I'm just disappointed with the story direction it has taken. Though this is my opinion and this is objective for me personally as I think the "big plot twist" made the earlier chapters feel meaningless or just don't fit within the original narrative. Like I've said it just feels unnatural with how the story changed so suddenly.

This is my only complaint about this manga as I love the art style as well as the AMAZING character development with how they handle a rushed marriage and grow in a ...

Best romance manga ever read/seen. This is on par or maybe even better than Horimiya on no bullshity finally a couple and then series ends one chapter later.

I really don't want to spoil you here, so I'll just say that while the progression is quite fast at the start, it slows down and we can see the characters relationships evolving.

They get together quite fast and the series is based around them progressing further.

I gotta tell you, this is a pearl among swine. It fulfills what you want from a cute romance manga. Makes you fluffy inside and for once, no extreme denseness (yaaassss!!!).

Tonikaku Kawaii is like a cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day. There's nothing special about it if you really think about it: the plot isn't particularly intriguing, the characters aren't exactly unique, and its themes and how the manga explores them are nothing close to thought-provoking or groundbreaking. Even the comedy, while entertaining, is nothing to write home about. In fact, I'd wager that anyone with at least a basic background in storytelling can make something similar and achieve a similar effect.

But the fact that, at least in my experience, no manga quite does the same (disappointingly, let's hope it sets a trend) ...

If you're one to judge a book by its cover, then at first glance, Tonikawa appears to be an interesting romance manga. But after going through a few chapters, you start to realize that it isn't what you thought. Instead of an interesting romance manga with character development, relationship development and depth/substance, you see a pattern of nonsense equal to a longer version of a 4-koma. For me, I thought it felt familiar and saw the person who made it: Hata Kenjirou! I knew it!

That's right, much like his 10 year long, going nowhere fast romance manga Hayate Combat Butler, Tonikawa too is following in ...

Tonikaku Kawaii is probably one of the best romcom manga out there!!! No bullshit, no cliche moments straight into the point. My bros reccommend this manga to me and first impression it was quite interesting! The art is quite nice. This is just the perfect manga for all romcom fans like me. Each chapter is just like a complete healing from stressful, lonely everyday life. The story's premise is simple, its executed in a very enjoyable manner, taking advantage of the simple but charming artwork, and the lovely dynamic that builds between Nasa and Tsukasa. Add onto it tons of snappy dialogue and hilarious little ...

This is one of the most wholesome romance mangas I have read. Are you tired of mangas where the character takes 500 years to make a decision on which girl to pick? Then this manga is for you. The manga starts with Nasa Yuzaki getting hit by a truck but being saved by Tsukasa, who eventually marries him from the get-go. Therefore, the manga starts out with the main characters married, and the rest of the manga is a Slice-Of-Life style plot where the daily lives of the newlyweds are shown. If you're into chapter after chapter of wholesome fluff, then this manga is for ...

I'll keep this review short and sweet (quite like many of the chapters).

In the beginning, Tonikaku Kawaii served as a simple, anti-cliche, - but most importantly - fun romance manga that required minimum investment. Characters were 2 dimensional but lovable. Plot was simple but fresh, often self-aware of its genre and poking fun at common plot arcs (although a much more complex overarching story was hinted at throughout). The artwork is nothing out of ordinary, though Kenjirou Hata's style made the overall enjoyment great. I gave the the manga a 8 - a lighthearted read that was unique and energising.

After the most recent ...

Some spoilers ahead.

To some, 66 chapters might be way too early to give it a 10/10 rating but I'm rating it as myself at the current chapters.

Story and Character development is on point comforting and light-hearted. Literally cute is the best description of this manga. Every interaction between the 2 protag draws me in and finding myself cheering for them. Hoping the nothing will come between them in the later chapters.

The female protag is shrouded with a familiar Japanese mythology vibe. Those who are familiar with Kaguya or Tsukuyomi will no doubt draw the same opinion. However, as we all know Kaguya was never married ...

Love this manga.

I find the drama and simple romance (e.g. the "I love you", "I love you too" conversations) enjoyable, and very SFC (Safe for Christians). The male protag is pretty straightforward, and it is obvious the main couple really love each other. The story is on the level of ultra-wholesome and would make most guys want to get married if they don't already. They get lovey-dovey once in a while, and it's great (it's okay because they're married). Watching the couple rapidly mature and develop as the plot moves forward provides a strong feeling of satisfaction. The side characters are slightly crazy which ...

Chapter 41 here!

Story:10
I know i know, it's too early to rate this and 10 might just too good. BUT from creator of Hayate no Gotoku i know a thing or two about his style (sadly watched only anime but soon will read manga so no bigie). And you know what? It's comedy romance and shounen goddammit and I completely agree, comedy F*$k YEAH it's original, well thought threw, doesn't get on my nerves and finally it's modern, on a side note many mangakas are like office workers, grey and copy}paste things and throw a bunch of cliche moments until you vomit blood.
Here i see ...

This is my first review on this website. I originally came upon this manga while looking at the Fall 2020 seasonal chart. My initial reaction was "Oh cool, a seasonal anime with a pretty nice and fluffy premise, but I think Kamisama ni Natta Hi by Jun Maeda will be better though", and I thought nothing more of it. However, once I decided to read source material before hand, I started reading this first. Once I started I couldn't stop. It just warms your heart to the point of breaking.

Story - 9

The story for this manga is relatively simple, it having slice-of-life elements and all. ...

Tonikaku Kawaii is just plain and simple cute. The story is about two kids who get married, and what their married life is like. It follows a lot of similar tropes as most rom-coms, where he is bubbly and energetic and she is cold and unemotional, but the situations turn out very differently for one reason: they are already married. The manga loves to play off this, as a married couple is obviously going to have different ways of interacting then the typical romance manga couple.

The author spends most of his time making the characters basic interactions as cute as possible, and most of ...

In my opinion, the best combination of words describing this work is "comforting." The story boasts an incredible charm, and adopts a storyline of romance not much seen in popular history, for the beginning of conversation we are not talking about "children" (although the main character's wife is 16 years old...) but rather a young adult, which by itself already Makes the story more acceptable. Of Course the plot is not perfect, after all it is not every day that a beautiful girl appears in front of you, saves you from imminent death and propose marriage, all in the course of a few hours, but ...

Al 10? yes all 10 at the moment.
This is my first review so don't mind my amateur-ish review.

I adore manga's that are wholesome and has 0 to little drama's. Especially romance manga's that will give u diabetes.
Are u that kind of person too?

Than Tonikaku Kawaii is perfect for you.
It's wholesome, fluffy. It makes you smile as in comedic aspect and sweetness.

Male lead and female lead are greatly written, every chapter you can see how they develop as a married couple. Both of them got their own personality that makes them both a great combo.
Friends of MC's are great too, funny, caring and are also part ...

Figured that since all the other reviews are preliminary I should submit a completed one.

This story is one of those fluffy rom-coms with a wide variety of characters and has a, well, different art style than other shojo or similar romances and it fits the tone of the story really well. If you want some heart-warming fluffy shit this is for you, don't be alarmed by that if you're plot heavy because there's some of that too and from what I understand it's going to act as a prelude to the his next work "Fly me to the moon"

I absolutely adore the characters by the ...
