Food isekai are the only good isekai, and this one is the best of those. While Isekai Shokudou and Isekai Izakaya: Nobu are both solid, they're strictly episodic and by the numbers. This on the other hand takes a page out of Sweetness & Lightning with great details and more then enough strong story elements.

Story/Worldbuilding 9/10
As with most isekai, especially fantasy isekai, a significant amount of the appeal is in how the world works around the characters. Instead of going into redundant detail or exposition the world is built slowly through the rotating cast, which each arc properly works through. It is a tad formulaic read more

Honestly, it's just something you'd read to pass the time. The manga is seemingly short as I've only found 5 chapters translated into english (very minimal effort put into searching) and it does its job. You read it if you're into cooking manga and just want to pass the time, the whole entire plot device for the story to be put into a different world shouldn't be minded all too much

The Food - 7/10
I like food stuffs

The Manga - 6/10
Does its job well and was more entertaining than I'd originally thought it would be

You probably shouldn't really read stuff like this unless you stumble read more

Altough it has a premise that seems quite common and repetitive, the plot develops into a enjoyable story.
The first chapters werent particularly outstanding but towards the third volume you start getting a deeper look into the caracthers inner toughts and psycology which I found quite refreshing and interesting.

One big plus that this manga has is that it does not focus too much (barely at all) in the more "outlandish" experiences of the younger sister. It is a very not-magical kind of developement.

Ps the amount of detail and work that is put into the recipies is honestly surprising lol as someone that loves cooking I read more
