Synopsis

Slimes are great. What I love most about this series is the slime research. The realisation that the alcohol slime keeps demanding more expensive liquour, the medicine slime steals the mushrooms the protagonist is farming, the metal slimes dangeorusly roll around, the army of 3000 slimes makes the protagonist OP at toilet cleaning, and an army of 5000 slimes trained in martial arts doing battle against a horde of goblins. The character component gets a 10/10 solely because of the slimes.

I think this a pretty solid novel. Very easy to read and follow, in a way where it's actually enjoyable to read, unlike some others... trust me i've read Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou!

I think the most solid points of Kamihiro is 1) Reincarnation 2) Slimes 3)overall lightheardeness 4) heartwarming, soothing familial moments with Jamil family

- Reincarnation -> probably the best i've ever seen in an isekai? usually authors don't big such big of an emphasis on it as Kamihiro's author did. Usually it's just, you died -> you reincarnated. Kamihiro really puts a big emphasis on it, to the point that it all read more
