These two are of my all time favourite romance manga with no problematic situations or misunderstandings except for some, but I'll let these slide as they are done well.. Both have age gap too..

Both are age gap student_teacher relationship that rely more on comedy than romance.. Both are really adorable and not toxic or weird relationships..

This is a similar styled romance manga. While the settings and characters are different, at the core they are about a romance between a high school girl and an older man. So a lot of the drama centers around that negative stigma and the character dancing around the boundaries of what is appropriate. Even deeper is the similarity about finding one's place in the world. In Taiyou no Ie, Mao needs to find the value of family and what familial love means. In JK, its about loners finding someone who would miss them if they were gone and puts their interests first.

Both have funny and heartwarming scenes and dialogues. Simple yet touching mangas!

Both series are about student-teacher relationship (although in homura-sensei the roles are reversed with the student pursuing the teacher who is against this whole ordeal) Both contain pessimistic and kinda weird teacher characters who are not taken seriously by their students
