Synopsis

For years, a great war has raged on between the scientifically advanced Empire and a paradise of witches known as the Nebulis Sovereignty. I first checked out this series because the name of the story enticed me. "Kimi to Boku" translates to "You and I" and usually indicates something romantic. The "no saigo no senjou" part could be read as "last war", and the premise immediately grabbed me - two lovers on opposite sides of a battlefield who have to decide between their allegiances to their country or their love for each other.

Story

The story structure switches between the swordsman Iska and the "star mage" Alice, creating a tense but cute narrative as the reader learns their inner feelings and watching how their paths end up crossing.
