The story is really similar because Kimi wa, Ore ga Suki da tte Ittara Donna Kao suru darou and Kenka Banchou Otome both MC Girl is pretending to be a boy,and the girl is being surrounded by hot, popular boys and both has a romance but Kimi wa, Ore ga Suki da tte Ittara Donna Kao suru darou has a lot more Romance.

Both Buddy Go! and Kimi wa, Ore ga Suki da tte Ittara DOnna Kao suru darou (Kimi wa) are cute and light mangas about a girl who secretly cross-dresses as a guy to fulfill her dreams. However, hilarity and nerve-wracking situations ensue when some guys around her realize her secret and in some cases fall in love with her! Buddy Go! mainly follows from the girl's perspective (Shizuku/Ai) while Kimi wa follows the guy's (Kanzaki). If you like Buddy Go! You'll like Kimi wa and vice versa!

Both females are forced to cross dress in order to participate in the boys basketball program. In Power!!, she is forced to, whereas in Kimi wa, it is her decision. Both stories involve romance and a man wanting to protect them.
