I absolutely adore this manga series. The moment I laid eyes on it, I was impressed and delighted by the vintage art style, which left quite an impression on me. Given that this art style and the way manga is drawn are personal favorites of mine, I've grown extremely fond of reading this manga.

One of the aspects I particularly appreciate about this manga is the undeniable chemistry between the main characters, our "odd couple," Mit and Ito. I truly admire their friendship, even though it's not always explicitly highlighted in the story. You can still sense it through their actions and battles together.

Moreover, the comedic ... elements in the story have often had me burst into laughter as I read, even during those late-night, sneaky reading sessions. Mit, a character with many flaws, still manages to lend a helping hand to friends in need. I'm especially drawn to the hilarious and mischievous facial expressions the artist gives Mit. This, in my opinion, is a major plus for the series. Mit's character truly elevates the manga, making it more enjoyable and fantastic. I appreciate how he interacts with everyone and how, despite his mischief, he doesn't harm anyone. His actions of stepping up to protect his friends are a big plus for his character.

Additionally, Itou is quite an admirable young man. His sincerity and kindness, particularly in his relationship with his girlfriend, have made me think of him as a cool character. While he may not excel in fighting like Mit, he still tries his best to protect his friends, enduring blows and standing firm. This contrast in their personalities doesn't hinder their friendship; in fact, it seems to strengthen it. They genuinely care about each other. Among all the male characters in the story, Itou is my favorite. I acknowledge that he doesn't appear as frequently as Mit, but I really appreciate his character.

It's not just the friendship between the two main characters that I admire; I also have a great deal of respect for the bond between Yasuo and Imai. They are like two peas in a pod, looking out for each other, protecting one another, and having fun together every day. I'd love to have such a close-knit friendship in real life, if I could make a wish. Imai may have a tough exterior, but he's actually very gentle and kind-hearted. Yasuo, who I don't yet understand as much, but I admire his unwavering trust in his friend Imai. His way of thinking and looking out for Imai is truly impressive. He is undoubtedly a kind-hearted individual.

If I were to talk about how I came across this manga, it was by pure chance when I stumbled upon a live-action clip online and fell head over heels for Kyoko, who is a charming actress. In the live-action, she made such comical facial expressions and portrayed a highly impressive character. This led me to seek out the manga as I wanted to see more of the romantic development between Ito and Kyoko. Although the manga has some differences, I am still extremely fond of the character Kyoko. However, my favorite female character remains Riko. She is strong and endearing. I am slightly disappointed that I haven't seen Mit and Riko's romantic relationship develop further, but the head pat he gave her near the end of a chapter was somewhat satisfying for me.

If you enjoy a manga that combines action and humor, this is the perfect series to read for entertainment after a tiring day of studying or working. I have a deep love for this manga.

Story: 8. It is a story about two friends: Mitsuhashi who is a jealous bastard full of dirty tricks but often stepping in when someone is in trouble, and Itou, who is trying to be a honest and good delinquent in all situations. As the story progresses they will get more friends that will help them in difficult situations. And surely there will be many difficult situation. Almost every single chapter is about them beating up someone and there are thugs and delinquents everywhere. The first 60 chapters of the story is full of nice humor and you will find yourself often laughing out ... loud. As the story progresses the enemies becomes bigger and more dangerous and the jokes fades out. The last 300 chapters do not have much humor, it is mostly just plain fights. The last two chapters are kind of a disappointment. I would have wanted a better ending. I graded the story as 8, but it is mostly thanks to the first 60 chapters. The first 60 chapters I would rate as 9, but the rest as 6.

Art: 7. The art is good, but nothing extra. It is comparable with most manga.

Characters: 6. After some time you simply get tired of the characters. For example how Mitsuhashi will try to sabotage the romance for everyone else all through the story. The characters are used over and over for the same thing and you hardly see any development at all.

Enjoyment: 7. The first chapters gave quite a bit of enjoyment and many laughs. Then at some point the story became more and more boring and ridiculous without much humor. At some point I almost considered to drop this manga, but I read until the disappointing end.

I'm trying to figure out how to feel about this manga. It's such a hit or miss I'm starting to question if I kinda like it or just find it average. First let's talk about the main cast, Mitsuhashi has moments that make him likeable but overall he is kinda irritating with the way he acts and how he treats other people. I liked Itou more since he's nice and helpful person unlike Mitsuhashi. The other characters are average and I don't feel anything about them. I want to talk more about the characters but I can't since I've only read 45 chapters.

Now let's talk ... about my issues with this manga. The first issue is more personal than anything, and that is I'm not a big fan of the episodic slice of life formula, at least lately. I have short attention span and this formula is the way to remind me of my short attention span which leads to me saying "I hate myself" lol.

The second issue is kinda hard to put in word, I will try my best. I think the world feels off to me. How so? well it just feel so colorful it throw me off. Take Mitsuhashi for example, he is so strong he can take 8 guys that are older than him. Him being super powerful doesn't feel earned and I think the author himself didn't care about this. Like I wanted to see Mitsuhashi struggle when he fights even 2 guys. Basically, I wanted the manga to feel more realistic. Instead the manga felt like Mitsuhashi's imaginary world since everything is handed to him and almost everything revolve around him. The same can be said about Itou. Like I said it's kinda hard to put in words but I hope you got my point lol

The third issue is minor and that is the art. It's a bit charming sometimes but a lot of the times it just looks average. Tbh the scans were dry and rough so I think they made the art worse than it actually is.

Do I recommend this manga? yeah I think it's kinda fun. You will probably like it more than I did
