This one has some really odd character designs. The Fairouz Ai voiced character has weird hair, that seems like a single big blob instead of individual strands. The little silent dude with glasses who is as small as a toddler, the blue haired gayru with a face that looks like it was pulled out.

Seems funny that the loan shark boss seems to be a teenage girl, I kind of hope we see more of her, despite his debt being paid off.

The second episode had some unnecessarily intricate animation in some of those chase scenes. I didn't expect so much detail in the animation in a show likethis, not to mention with such odd character designs...but it is studio Nut afterall...

My grumble with it is the MC is one of those people that I avoid at all costs. Doesn't want to work, always looking for a way to "get rich quick," is constantly borrowing money, avoiding responsibility for anything, and if you do give them money to get them out of a jam, they'll immediately spend it on "something nice for themselves" instead of paying off debt. I've known far too many people like that (including a brother-in-law) and they don't get better.

My motivation to work would be almost zero is I only had 2 years to live. I've already seen several people die before retiring...pretty depressing thought.

So Hana lives at the convenience store that Tsunehiro has just started working at. He's struggling at the start seeing that he's never worked at a job before, but he picked it up pretty quickly there going to show that he's turning to turn things around and at least make the most of the time he has left to live. Well, this show has been rather meh, but at the very least there's some intrigue to it and the story concept is solid one. Anyway, this show seems like it has gone nowhere after starting off strong.

LOL, the part where the guy pulls out the change well after she put the total in the register is so real. I hear people complain all the time that cashiers can't make change in their head...and yes, many of them can't do simple math in their head, but I've run a register in the past and I've had people do the absolute dumbest things by pulling out change after the register calculated it...like say the total was $5.76, and they give you a $10 bill...then as you are about to give them their change, they hand you 26 cents....it's like why did you do that, you're still getting coins back anyway, now I just have to sit there and calculate it my head and take longer...what was the point?

DING DING DING

We finally have an anime where the divorced parent without custody gets to visit their kid.

The art style and changing character designs is still weirding me out, I guess that fits a comedy, but this doesn't really seem like much of a comedy, more of a slice of life on the drama side.

Interesting that Takaaki's phone seems to be a Google Pixel, I wouldn't expect them to be popular in Japan

As I said in the post above, the weird art style and how the character designs changed didn't really fit the tone of the show to me. This was much more of a drama than a comedy.

I'll give it a 7.5/10, rounding down to a 7/10 for my MAL rating. I thought this was a decent enough drama, but it kind of seemed aimless at points, but didn't really live up to the Iyashikei type aimlessness that I love in shows like Non Non Byiori and Flying Witch.
